Prepare and Submit Your Application Documents

Your educational document may be subject to legalization or nostrification (recognition of foreign education), depending on the country where it was issued. Information on the need for these procedures is available on the National Accreditation Agency website.

You can complete the recognition procedure at our University (if you apply only to Pirogov University) or at the National Accreditation Agency (if you apply to several Russian universities).

Please Note:

  • Getting an invitation and visa takes over one month. Please take this timeline into account when planning your arrival.
  • If you don't have Russian Unified State Exam results or a state scholarship, you'll be required to take entrance exams (see below).

You can submit your documents to the Admissions Office in person, via the online submission form, or through a postal service like DHL.

4

Entrance Exams: Schedule & Guidelines

If you don't have Russian Unified State Exam (USE/EGE) results or a state scholarship, you'll need to take entrance exams. All exams will be conducted online, using a proctoring system. Please thoroughly review the REGULATIONS on conducting remote entrance examinations using proctoring systems at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University below. The examination schedule for different applicant categories is also listed below. Before the exams, prospective students have the opportunity to test their knowledge using a practice test (the number of attempts is unlimited).

After successfully passing the entrance exams, the final steps to complete your enrollment are:

  • Signing a tuition contract (if you plan to study on a fee-paying basis);
  • Paying tuition for one semester;
  • Waiting for the university's admission order.

The grounds for enrollment are:

  • an application of consent to enrollment (for enrollment to state-funded places);
  • a signed tuition contract and a payment receipt of tuition for one semester (for fee-paying enrollment).
