Continuing Medical Education

Pirogov Medical University offers all types of continuing medical education, including professional retraining (more than 500 hours) and advanced training (from 18 to 500 hours) in 49 medical specialties.

Training of international students is conducted on a contract (on a fee) basis.

Training is conducted at the Institute of Continuous Education and Professional Development, as well as at the Center for Simulation Training and Doctor’s Accreditation, which is equipped with the modern facilities of world leaders in the production of medical products for surgery.

The learning process is organized on the basis of experience of the University and the leading European training centers. Training programs are developed in accordance with the professional needs of different specialties. Classes are conducted by the experts — leaders in the relevant fields.
