The Student Scientific Societyof Pirogov University presents a series of podcasts "Analysis into molecules" — a project about those who have already chosen a scientific path in medicine, biomedicine and pharmacy.
The focus of each issue is not only the personal story of the guest, but also a specific stage of professional development. Over the course of 12 episodes, listeners will be able to sequentially trace the path from the first student research to the work of a young professional in the scientific field.
The podcast’s guests will share their own experiences, first projects and achievements, challenges and solutions that helped them move forward. This is an opportunity to see a scientific career from the inside and understand where you can start your own journey while still studying at the university.
The first episode is devoted to the most important question: why should a student engage with science, and how to take the first step? His heroine is Darya Nefedova, the head of the student scientific club at the Department of General and Medical Biophysics, and the winner of the “I Am a Professional” Olympiad in the “Technologies of Future Medicine” track.
In the conversation, Darya talks about how she got into science, how she balances research activities with studies and leisure, and what can help students who want to try their hand at this field but don’t yet know where to start.
