The competition helps turn scientific ideas into practical developments and gives researchers the opportunity to continue working on their projects and present them at the federal level.

The winning projects are:

• Ekaterina Smolyankina, an assistant at the Department of Innovative Pediatrics and Pediatric Surgery at INOPR, is the author of the idea for a methodology to assess blood circulation and oxygen levels in the leg muscles of children with spastic forms of cerebral palsy. It will make it possible to more objectively evaluate the effectiveness of treatment.
• Darya Starostenko, a third‑year student majoring in Fundamental Medicine, proposed the concept of a realistic medical simulator with AR navigation for practicing the skills of placing external ventricular drainage.

A postgraduate student specializing in “Obstetrics and Gynecology” is the author of a project involving an AI model that will help individualize the management of patients with hyperplastic processes of the endometrium.

Behind each project lies a pressing medical challenge and a promising development. 

Ahead of the participants lies the conclusion of contracts and work on their implementation.
