A pilot project to improve the higher education system, to which Pirogov University is a participant, became a separate topic of the broadcast. Marina Khoreva said that this year, admission is conducted for 9 pilot residency programs, and their main feature is a step—by-step learning model. After completing the first stage, residents receive a diploma, undergo primary specialized accreditation and can begin professional activity or continue their studies at the second stage. For a number of specialties, the second stage allows you to obtain two qualifications at once — for example, a general practitioner and a gastroenterologist or pulmonologist.
