The guests of the festival studied human and animal tissues under a microscope, tried themselves as surgeons, performing tasks on a laparoscopic simulator, got acquainted with the structure of the jaw and the first skills of a dental surgeon, and also tested attentiveness, logic and creativity in a psychological laboratory.
The laparoscopic simulator became the most popular activity. The visitors enthusiastically mastered basic surgical procedures, trying to move special rings as accurately as possible with the help of medical instruments. The work with microscopes aroused no less interest: the guests tried to determine which tissues were being examined, and then learned interesting facts about their structure. The young participants enjoyed putting together puzzles and completing tasks in the psychological laboratory.
A special place was taken by the topic of bone marrow donation. Everyone could learn about the Federal Register of Bone Marrow Donors and take the first step towards saving someone's life.
Another part of the program was the "Science here and now" campaign. The guests answered questions about modern scientific discoveries and their impact on our lives, becoming participants in a large study on society's attitude to science.
