One of these opportunities was the All-Russian Youth Educational Forum "SHUM", where Lana Sharygina and Evgenia Zhikhareva represent Pirogov University. The key platform for young media professionals and opinion leaders brought together 1,500 participants. The program includes five educational tracks, teamwork, workshops, discussions and real media projects.
President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants and organizers. In his address, the President noted that over the past years the forum has gained wide recognition, strengthened its educational and unifying potential, and also became part of a great effort to develop media technologies and creative industries.
"The lectures, as expected, were very useful and interesting! Now I know for sure that creativity is not about talent, but about a skill that can be developed, and there are many methods for this. There was also an understanding of how not to be afraid to respond to opportunities," a student at Pirogov University shared her impressions.
Participation in such forums helps students of Pirogov University to develop skills that are in demand today not only in the media, but also in healthcare: to work effectively in a team, to convey complex information to a wide audience and to participate in the implementation of significant public projects.
