Pirogov University was represented at the meeting by Rector Sergey Lukyanov, Vice-rector for Medical Work Hristo Takhchidi, Vice-rector for Innovation, Director of the Tashkent branch Dmitry Shagin and Head of the International Department Margarita Isaakova.

The central topic of the talks was the further development of cooperation between Pirogov University and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan. After the negotiations, the guests got acquainted with the scientific and educational infrastructure of Pirogov University. The representatives of the delegation visited laboratories and research centers, where they were told about the key areas of the University's work and modern developments in the field of biomedicine.

The delegations also demonstrated the procedure of primary specialized accreditation. This is one of the most important stages of professional training, allowing you to evaluate the knowledge, practical skills and willingness of medical professionals to work independently.
