How young science works: meet the Pirogov magazine.Lab"

Where does the first serious research begin? How does a student's idea turn into a scientific publication? What is happening in the laboratories of Pirogov University and how to join the work of the scientific circle?

The answers to these and many other questions are collected in the new scientific and educational journal "Pirogov.Lab", created by the team of the Student Scientific Society (SSS) of Pirogov University.

The publication introduces readers to the young science from the inside. The journal contains digests of current scientific publications prepared by University students together with mentors, the history of research projects, interviews with young scientists and science organizers, as well as materials on the work of laboratories and student scientific circles of various profiles.

In the first issue, you will learn:

— which scientific article is worth reading this week;

— which studies won prizes at the Pirogov Conference;

— what tasks are biophysicists working on?;

— how to start studying the mechanisms of aging;

— what opportunities does the SS open up for those who want to take their first steps in science.

"Pirogov.Lab" will be useful not only for those who are already engaged in research. The journal will help students choose an interesting scientific field, find like—minded people and better understand how their own path can begin — from getting to know the work of the circle to participating in serious projects and preparing publications.

The first issue is already available on the Pirogov University website.
