How to involve young people in the donor movement?

The student interuniversity conference "Donation 360: from donation to action", which was held at Pirogov University, was devoted to this topic. The event brought together more than 600 participants from 70 regions of Russia.

The main topic was the development of the youth donor movement. The participants discussed how to effectively involve students in donation, form sustainable initiatives, and create communities where helping others becomes a part of daily life.

The conference was opened by an expert session with Olga Petrova, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The discussion was attended by representatives of the National Fund for Health Development, the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, the O.K. Gavrilov Blood Center of the Moscow City Department of Health and the NMIC DGOI. Dmitry Rogachev of the Russian Ministry of Health.

Vladislava Belyakova, Vice-rector for Youth Policy at Pirogov University, Tigran Muradyan, Head of the Medical Department at Pirogov University, and Milana Butunts, head of the Donor Movement at Pirogov University, also spoke at the conference.

An important part of the program was the fair of educational organizations' practices, where representatives of universities from Samara, Yekaterinburg, Moscow, Saratov and St. Petersburg presented successful projects for the development of the donor movement and exchanged experiences.

The program ended with an excursion to the donation campaign "Week of Kindness", which was held at the Pirogov University Sports Center and allowed participants to see how the ideas of the conference are being implemented in practice.
