During the two years of study, they not only improved their practical skills, but also won professional Olympiads and conferences, published scientific papers, received patient commendations and took the first confident steps in independent medical practice.

Among the graduates there are 245 specialists who studied under a target agreement for 48 regions of Russia, 73 foreign citizens from 22 countries, and 290 residents were admitted to work as a trainee doctor during their studies. The University is particularly proud of 42% of graduates who have completed their residency with honors.

Olga Milushkina, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, warmly congratulated the graduates.:

"Today you have become professional doctors. There is a big ocean of medicine ahead, and I want it to become a place of strength for each of you. Residency is a time when not only professional skills are formed, but also a real medical community. Take care of your colleagues, because those with whom you studied together will become your reliable partners throughout your professional life. And may Pirogov University always illuminate your path." 

Marina Khoreva, Director of the Department of Higher Education Training, also addressed them with a parting word.:

"Today you are joining a professional community. Each of you begins your own path in the wonderful and noble profession of a doctor. Years of intense study, clinical practice, mastering professional skills and the subtleties of clinical thinking are behind us. Many of you combined your studies with work in medical organizations, and it wasn't easy. But you did it. Today you are graduates of the best medical university."

Congratulations to the graduates of the residency program on this important milestone! May the knowledge, experience and traditions of Pirogov University become a reliable basis for a medical career, and there will be new professional victories, grateful patients and great achievements ahead.
