The main topic of the shift at Pirogov University is career guidance in medicine. Over the course of ten days, the students will get acquainted with various medical specialties, including therapy, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as instrumental diagnostics. Under the guidance of University teachers and specialists, they will master basic first aid skills, take part in practical exercises and get acquainted with modern approaches to training medical personnel.

In addition to the educational program, participants will enjoy a rich cultural and sports life: excursions, a musical concert, a theatrical performance, quests, quizzes, hiking and various sports activities. During the shift, students will be able to feel like a part of the university community, learn more about the history and traditions of Pirogov University and get an idea of how the professional path of a doctor is built before admission.

The University Shifts project is being implemented within the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and the Movement of the First. For the participants, this is not only a bright summer vacation and new acquaintances, but also an opportunity to take the first conscious step towards their future profession.
