Representatives of Pirogov University are among the best at the International Forum "PREVENTMED'26"

The III International Forum is one of the key professional platforms dedicated to healthy longevity, disease prevention and the introduction of modern technologies in healthcare. Within the framework of the forum, a competition for young scientists was held with the support of the V.P. Chichkanov Charitable Foundation "Height". The meeting of the competition section was held by Valeria Loseva, Chairman of the Student Scientific Society of Pirogov University.

Alina Samitova, a junior researcher at the Laboratory of Genomics at Pirogov University, took second place in the nomination "Best research in the field of disease prevention."

The work "The latest PTA amplification method for advanced preimplantation genetic testing for monogenic diseases" (BMC Genomics), dedicated to the development of modern genetic technologies aimed at improving the prevention of hereditary diseases, was highly appreciated by the expert jury.

Vera Belova, a researcher at the Laboratory of Genomics at Pirogov University, also became a finalist in the competition.

Pirogov University's participation in the PREVENTMED'26 forum contributes to the development of scientific cooperation, the promotion of innovative research in the field of preventive medicine and the strengthening of the University's position as one of the leading centers of biomedical science.
