Grigory Arutyunov, Director of the Institute of Clinical Medicine, made an introductory speech. He stressed the importance of discussing modern approaches to teaching and the need to create a unified educational program for managing pregnant women at all stages of medical care.

Leading experts from Pirogov University made presentations. Lydia Ilyenko, Director of the Institute of Motherhood and Childhood, noted that improving the quality of medical care for pregnant women requires systemic changes, including the development of medical examinations, strengthening preventive medicine and increasing the role of women's consultations.

Olga Milushkina, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, emphasized the need to introduce educational programs aimed at informing young people about risk factors and the importance of maintaining reproductive health.

The Head of the Department of Polyclinic Therapy at the Institute of Clinical Medicine of Pirogov University, Doctor of Medicine, Professor Vera Larina presented proposals to improve the training of graduates to work with pregnant women in primary health care.

During the seminar, the specialists also discussed the specifics of managing patients with antiphospholipid syndrome, diabetes mellitus and other somatic diseases related to obstetric risk groups.

Following the meeting, Grigory Arutyunov proposed to improve the educational program, which will allow students to form a holistic view of the work of a primary care physician with pregnant women.

The seminar participants noted that improving the quality of medical personnel training in this area directly affects the health of the mother and child. The proposals developed during the discussion will become the basis for further improvement of educational programs and practical approaches to pregnancy support, contributing to the development of a modern patient-oriented healthcare system.
