This evening brought together students, teachers, staff, and guests of the University — cadet groups who share a love for historical dance, music, and cultural traditions. The ball was attended by the staff of the cadet movement of school No. 1056, the collectives of schools No. 1900 and No. 1747 and the ballroom club "Russian Traditions" of school No. 1747.

A special atmosphere was given to the first department by the live performance of the Anatomy of Music orchestra of Pirogov University. The real decoration of the evening was the demonstration waltz of the Pirogov Historical dance studio, prepared for its tenth anniversary.

Over the past ten years, the studio has conducted dozens of master classes, mastered more than thirty historical dances, and brought together people who are passionate about art, history, and creativity. The ball was a vivid result of a lot of joint work and another confirmation that university life is not only about science and education, but also the preservation of cultural traditions.

There is a new season ahead and an autumn historical ball, which will be held as part of the Pirogov Era: Cultural Code 2026 grant project. Participants will experience a journey into the atmosphere of a 19th-century ballroom, a music lounge, performances by creative teams and new encounters with history through the art of dance.
