The University was represented by Yana Grigorieva, Director of the Department of International Development, and Margarita Isaakova, Head of the International Department. The meeting was attended by Rector Jose Andelfo Liscano Caro and the official representative of academic directives in the Supreme Council of the University Sandra Bibiana Caceres Rueda.

After the exchange of welcoming words, the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation in the field of education and science. Representatives of the Bogota District University noted the importance of the bilateral exchange of experience and expressed interest in developing joint work, including in the field of preventive medicine.

Margarita Isaakova told the guests about the medical education system in Russia, the specifics of specialist training and scientific activities at Pirogov University. Among the possible areas of cooperation, the participants of the meeting identified joint research, academic contacts and exchange of teaching staff.

During the visit, the delegation also got acquainted with the University's infrastructure. The guests were given a tour of the architectural complex and shown a simulation center where students practice practical skills using modern equipment, including augmented and virtual reality technologies.

Such meetings help to expand international academic dialogue and create new opportunities for joint educational and scientific projects.
