The project was aimed at helping international students adapt faster to the scientific and educational environment of the University, get acquainted with different areas of medicine and see how research works from the inside.

Foreign and Russian-speaking students took part in the meetings. During the cycle, they got acquainted with the work of nine SNCs of Pirogov University, gained new knowledge and found useful professional contacts that will help them continue working in the teams of the circles.

The program includes topics related to topical issues of clinical practice and medical science. The students discussed first aid in emergency situations, modern approaches to the treatment of cystic fibrosis, diagnosis and treatment of acute respiratory viral infections, surgical techniques in urology, radiation diagnostics of diseases of the chest and other areas.

The first nine meetings became an important stage for those who are just starting their career in science and are still choosing a professional field. This format helps students not only to learn more about different fields of medicine, but also to take the first step towards independent research.

Since September, meetings within the framework of the project will continue in an updated format. Participants will find new relevant topics, more discussions and live communication.
