Future doctors: support and prospects in the Moscow region

A meeting of students with the Minister of Health of the Moscow Region and heads of the largest medical institutions of the region took place at Pirogov University.

Maxim Zabelin, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region and Minister of Health of the Moscow Region, noted that medical organizations in the region are interested in attracting young specialists, especially internists, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, neurologists and doctors of other sought-after specialties.

He stressed that the region has a comprehensive program of support for young professionals aimed at their adaptation. The program includes the creation of modern working conditions, the provision of affordable housing, as well as the provision of significant social and financial compensation.

During the meeting, the students were told in detail about the possibility of continuing their studies in the target area. Representatives of the ministry and the chief doctors explained that the targeted recruitment allows future doctors not only to be guaranteed employment in leading clinics in the Moscow region after graduation, but also to receive an additional scholarship from a medical organization during their studies. In addition, all types of practical training are provided for target students directly in the chosen medical organization with the establishment of an individual mentor from among experienced employees.

The Ministry also pays attention to professional development: it organizes training, internships, excursions to medical institutions and considers individual life situations during employment and relocation.

The meeting became an important stage in the professional development of students, allowing them to ask questions to experienced specialists and receive valuable recommendations for future work.
