As part of the event, everyone was able to undergo a free dermatoscopic diagnosis of skin formations and receive advice from specialists from the Department of Dermatovenerology named after Academician Yu.K. Skripkin Institute of Clinical Medicine (ICM).
The scientific and practical part of the event began with an interdisciplinary clinical analysis of a complex case of a patient with multiple skin malignancies. Leading experts from Pirogov University, the Federal State Budgetary Institution "FCMN" of the FMBA of Russia and the Kostroma Oncological Dispensary discussed modern methods of screening, diagnosis and prevention, as well as the role of artificial intelligence in the early diagnosis of melanoma. Ivan Gordeev, Deputy Director of the Institute of Clinical Medicine, made an introductory speech, noting significant progress in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease. Tatiana Gaidina, Director of the ICM Educational Program Implementation Center, emphasized the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in the fight against melanoma.
Rector of Pirogov University Sergey Lukyanov launched the First All-Russian scientific and practical conference of students, residents and young scientists "Tuning fork of Academician Yu.K. Skripkin: accuracy, time, responsibility". The conference was attended by Yuri Skripkin's students from Tver, Kursk, Novosibirsk, Khanty-Mansiysk and other Russian cities, and reports on topical issues of oncodermatology were presented.
A special prize from the Department of Dermatovenerology named after Academician Yu.K. Skripkin of the ICM was presented by the head of the Department Anton Dvornikov to colleagues from Tver State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation and the honorary guest of the conference Vladislav Dubensky, head of the Department of Dermatovenerology and Cosmetology with a course in oncology.
