The conference was organized by the Department of Propaedeutics of Childhood Diseases at the Institute of Motherhood and Childhood (IMD) of Pirogov University and the Student Scientific Circle of the department (Head of the Department — MD, Associate Professor Anatoly Moiseev; head of the SNK — PhD, Associate Professor Lyubov Larina), as well as the administration of the RCB represented by the director of the hospital Elena Petryaikina, MD, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation and the city of Moscow, Head of the Department of Endocrinology at Pirogov University.
The conference traditionally brought together students, young researchers and leading specialists in the field of pediatrics. The jury consisted of well—known Russian scientists and practitioners - representatives of Pirogov University, Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Sechenov University and the Russian University of Medicine.
The winners were determined based on the results of the competition program.
First place:

— Daria Fedotova, Valeria Klochkova — "Radical treatment of combined malformation of the internal genital organs in a patient with juvenile ankylosing spondylitis."
Second place:
— Tatiana Okhlopkova, Alexandra Bochkova — "Difficulties in diagnosing type Ib glycogenosis in a child of the first year of life: a clinical case";
— E.S. Khokhrina — "Late neonatal sepsis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes in a child with cavernous portal vein transformation."
Third place:
— Emilia Fateeva— "A clinical case of X-linked adrenoleukodystrophy";
— D. Panycheva, S. Darishchev, M. Rudneva, D. Lauer — "The use of sirolimus in the treatment of inoperable lymphangiomas of the head and neck in newborns: clinical success and the importance of drug monitoring."
The winners were awarded with diplomas, souvenirs, and the book "Andrey Mazurin. “Hurry up to do good!". To the 100th anniversary of his birth", prepared by A. Mironov and A. Safonov, staff members of the Department of Propaedeutics of Childhood Diseases at the Pirogov University Faculty of Medicine.
The Mazurin Readings Conference remains one of the leading platforms for presenting scientific research of medical students, exchanging professional experience and preserving the memory of Andrei Mazurin, who made a significant contribution to the development of Russian pediatrics. The conference annually promotes the development of scientific activities of young researchers and strengthens the traditions of the Russian pediatric school.
