Summing up the results of the NSO year: key figures, significant events and prospects for the future!

The final meeting of the Student Scientific Society (SS) of Pirogov University was held, during which the results of the work of young people in science for the 2025/2026 academic year were summed up.

Opening remarks were made by First Vice-Rector Giorgi Nadareishvili, who stressed that the SS has always been an important structure for the University, today it is one of the largest and strongest in Russia. Elena Maslenkova, head of the Youth Center for Science and Technology, noted that in 2026, the National Security Council achieved serious results, and now it is necessary not only to maintain this bar, but also to gradually raise it.

Chairman of the Council of Europe Valeria Loseva summed up the results of the work:

119 scientific circles conducted scientific and educational activities, giving students not only theory, but also practice.;

1,043 meetings — the number of times students gathered to discuss hypotheses, results, and research;

Pirogov Scientific Medical Conference is the key event of the year for students and young scientists;

479 wins at international and All-Russian conferences — Pirogov University — leader of scientific progress;

604 publications in peer-reviewed journals.

The results of the "Best Student Scientific Circle" competition were announced at the meeting, as well as key events of the autumn, including the "Kaleidoscope of Directions", the "Media School", the International Festival "Science 0+" and other events.

The new academic year will open up even more opportunities for students to develop scientifically, implement initiatives, and reach new professional heights.
