NMICO FMBA of Russia is the largest specialized center in the country and one of the world's leading specialized institutions in the field of otorhinolaryngology, head and neck surgery. Over the years, a powerful scientific and clinical school has been formed here, combining advanced surgical technologies, fundamental research and the training of highly qualified medical personnel.

Every year, the Center performs more than 15,000 high-tech operations, including the most complex interventions in the field of otosurgery, skull base surgery, reconstructive surgery of the larynx and trachea, cochlear implantation, as well as the treatment of head and neck tumors in adults and children.

An interdisciplinary approach to medical care remains one of the key areas of the Center's development. The largest Russian sign language center has been established on the basis of NMICO, and the scientific school of otosurgery has been widely recognized by the professional community and makes a significant contribution to the development of domestic healthcare.

Pirogov University has long-term cooperation with the NMICO of the FMBA of Russia in the scientific, educational and clinical fields. The Center is the leading clinical base of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at the Institute of Continuing Education and Professional Development of Pirogov University.
