The result of the campaign is 101 potential bone marrow donors. That's more than a hundred chances to save a life.
For two years now, Pirogov University and Gazprombank have been developing a partnership in the field of bone marrow donation. During this time, several hundred employees of the bank joined the Federal Register, and this year the story got a special continuation: Gazprombank employee Dmitry Ryzhenkov. He became a hematopoietic stem cell donor and helped save the life of his genetic twin.
We would like to thank all the participants of the action, the volunteers and the Gazprombank team for their involvement, support and responsible attitude towards such an important matter.
Such collaborations are especially important: by joining forces, it is possible not only to raise awareness about bone marrow donation, but also to expand the Federal Register, which means to increase the chances of saving patients.
Every new member of the register is a hope. The more participants there are, the more chances there are to give someone a future.
