Sergey Lukyanov spoke about the strategic technological projects of Pirogov University: "Gene Therapy", "Neurotrophy" and "Immunomedicine", emphasizing that in the context of the rapid development of biomedical technologies, the integration of science, practical healthcare and the educational process is of particular importance.
In particular, Sergey Lukyanov noted: "Pirogov University has become a participant in a pilot project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation to improve the higher education system. We are ready to share our accumulated experience in creating flexible educational programs and involving students in real scientific research."
The meeting was attended by Mikhail Murashko, Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, and Dmitry Afanasyev, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Mikhail Murashko stressed that the main task of medical universities is to train qualified specialists who meet the urgent needs of the healthcare system.
The meeting contributed to the exchange of best practices and the formation of a modern model of medical education, focused on the challenges of the time and the needs of the industry.
