Tatiana Machneva, MD, Head of the Department of Physics and Mathematics at the Institute of Physics and Mathematics, made an introductory speech. She stressed that the conference reveals the close connection of medical practice with the exact sciences — physics and mathematics, and also helps to realize their importance.
The students presented informative and carefully prepared reports on the latest physical methods of treatment and diagnosis in medicine, covering a wide range of topics: from bionic prosthetics and magnetic resonance imaging to innovative methods of gene therapy and nanomedicine.
Special attention was paid to the practical application of these methods in clinical practice, their effectiveness and prospects for further development.
The winners received valuable prizes. The participants expressed special gratitude to the organizers of the event — Bayarma Zhambalova, Associate Professor of the Department of Physics and Mathematics at IFMH, and Valentina Fedorova, Professor of the Department.
