Frost, wind and incredible energy: how was the ski trip "Metelitsa"?

This year, winter showed its character, but it was the bitter cold and sparkling snow that became the main allies of the skiers of Pirogov University.

More than 20 students and staff went to conquer the forest trails near Zelenograd to test themselves and recharge the energy of a real winter drive.

What we remember about "Metelitsa"

is its international spirit. International University students started skiing for the first time and discovered new horizons of active recreation;

— a real challenge. Steep climbs, wind in the face and invigorating weather only rallied the hikers more;

— the memory of the heart. The highlight was the laying of flowers at the monument in honor of the defenders of Moscow. A minute of silence in this holy place reminded us why we overcome difficulties.

"Metelitsa" proved once again that sport, unity and respect for history are what Pirogov University can be proud of.
