A solemn graduation ceremony for graduates of the Institute of Clinical Psychology and Social Work was held at Pirogov University

A graduation ceremony for graduates of the specialty in Clinical Psychology was held at Pirogov University. This year, the Institute of Clinical Psychology and Social Work (ICPSR) has released a new generation of specialists who are ready to work in one of the most sought-after areas of modern healthcare and the social sphere.

The event was opened by Sergey Lukyanov, Rector of Pirogov University, wishing the graduates happiness, success in their work, health and the preservation of the friendship they had acquired at the University. "There will be many important words today, I think you will remember them," Sergey Lukyanov addressed the audience. "And when you become ministers, don't forget about your native University." Then the rector of Pirogov University awarded diplomas with honors to graduates who showed the highest academic results.

In her welcoming speech, Olga Milushkina, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, noted the rapid growth and development of the specialty of clinical psychology: "Every year, the number of students enrolled in University programs is growing. Today, medical psychology and the activities available to a clinical psychologist are in great demand."

Vera Nikishina, Director of the Institute of Clinical Psychology and Social Work, addressed the graduates with a warm greeting: "University is a tradition itself. Her main pillar at all times is respect and gratitude. Gratitude to those who not only create an atmosphere, but who provide an opportunity to learn. Remember the names of those who taught you, let them stay with you. They will become your real foundation, your University for life."

Irina Zapesotskaya, Head of the Department of Cognitive Sciences at the ICPSR, congratulated the graduates and wished them to maintain their internal integrity and strive for a great future.

A special warmth to the event was given by the alumni's response, which proudly sounded: "Dear teachers, you are our magicians!"

According to tradition, the ceremony ended with the performance of the University anthem. After the official graduation ceremony, graduates, their families and teachers were able to chat and take memorable photos.

Pirogov University is proud of its graduates and is confident that their knowledge and mental qualities will serve for the benefit of the nation's health.
