The State Examination Commission (GEC) includes more than 60% of employers' representatives from healthcare and educational institutions. Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor Yuri Mikadze has been confirmed as the Chairman of the GEK.
Before the start of the GIA procedure, Vera Nikishina, Deputy Chairman of the commission, Head of the Department of Clinical Psychology, Director of the ICPSR, Doctor of Psychological Sciences, Professor, addressed the members of the state examination Commission with a welcoming speech. Vera Nikishina spoke about the rules of procedure, the working procedure of the commission and wished good luck to both its members and students.
The state exam was held on January 14, and the defense of final qualifying papers took place on January 19-21. At the end of each stage of the GIA, Secretary of the GEK Elena Polyakova, an assistant at the Department of Clinical Psychology of the ICPSR, announced the students' grades and named the names of those whose answers were recognized by the commission as the best.
The topics of the final qualifying papers this year were not only relevant, but also had a practical focus; many were related to the use of modern software and hardware systems. The recommendations and practical solutions obtained in the course of scientific research are ready for implementation in the practice of healthcare and education.
Upon completion of the defenses, the Chairman and members of the State Examination Commission noted the clarity of the GIA procedure and the high quality of professional training for graduates.
