New disciplines combining technology and physical activity are constantly emerging in modern sports. One of the most striking phenomena is digital football, a team sport in which success is determined by both skill in a football simulator and skills on a real mini-football field.

The SSZ League 2025 Final tournament of the year at Pirogov University brought together the most adventurous and enthusiastic participants. Six communities took part in the competition:

— Adyghe/Karachay-Balkarian;

— Dagestan, Azerbaijani;

— Vietnamese/Tatar and Vainakh.

As a result of the intense struggle, the winners were determined. In mini-football, the Azerbaijani fraternity won gold, Dagestan (team No. 1) won silver, and Adyghe won bronze./Karachay-Balkarian community. The Azerbaijani community also won in the FIFA cyber discipline, and the Adyghe team took the second place./The Karachay-Balkarian community, the third is Dagestan (team No. 2).

Players who have shown outstanding qualities deserve special attention. Aiman Albezrekh became the best goalkeeper of the tournament. Kambulat Karachaev was recognized as the best defender. Vusal Mammadov won the title of the best scorer. Magomed Chermurzaev received the title of the most valuable player.

Congratulations to all participants and winners on the bright end of the season! Such events unite students in their quest to win both on the virtual and on the real field.
