World First Aid Day is celebrated annually around the world on the second Saturday of September. On September 14, the University hosted a first-aid master class for schoolchildren and students, bringing together more than 300 participants.
After the lecture of the surgeon, professor Marina Kostyuchenko, the guests of the event started practicing on mannequins for artificial ventilation of the lungs, assessment of consciousness and breathing, an algorithm for assisting with sudden cardiac arrest, a stable lateral position, etc. After all the practical courses, the guests underwent online testing of their knowledge and received electronic certificates.
