The chess team of Pirogov University made a real triumph and became the best in the team competition among the 10 strongest universities of the country. In the individual event Olesya Engovatova took the first place, and Enzhe Nigmatullina became the silver medalist. 

“From the first round it was clear that the tournament would not be easy. Until the last moment we didn't know what place we were taking - it added to the adrenaline! We came for victory and we achieved our goal. More to come!”, — shared the emotions of the team captain Arman Bichakhchyan. 

Pirogov University soccer team are bronze medalists in the debut tournament. The men's soccer team entered this level for the first time and immediately made a confident step, taking the 3rd place. In the decisive match athletes defeated the team of Dagestan with the score 4:2, and the captain Ivan Samarsky scored a goal that made the whole field freeze.

The festival became a real celebration of sports, and our teams proved that not only future doctors, but also real champions study at Pirogov University. We are proud of the guys and wish them new victories!
