Our University took the leading position at the THE University Impact Ranking 2019 in SDG Good Health and Well-Being

Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University took the leading position among Russian universities at The Times Higher Education University Impact Ranking 2019 in SDG Good Health and Well-Being. THE University Impact Rankings was compiled for the first time to recognize universities across the world for their social and economic impact, based on the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

The list includes 421 universities from 74 countries, 29 of them were Russian. The leading positions were taken by medical universities: Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (ranked 43), Sechenov University (ranked 84) and Ryazan State Medical University (ranked 101-200).

This ranking focuses on various data, including proportion of health graduates and research on health and well-being. RNRMU students are future doctors and health-related professionals. Each of them will take care of people and promote well-being and improve the healthcare situation. Moreover, the University Impact Ranking took into account the focus areas of the University: blood donor movement, healthy living promotion, charity events and various preventive health measures.
