The first scientific conference "Pediatrics: a step into the future" was held on October 3 at our University. General practitioners, as well as narrow-profile children's doctors took part in conference work.

The event started with two lectures. Professor Dmitry Dmitrievich Pankov, head of the Department of Pediatrics and School Medicine, Faculty of Continuing Medical Education, talked how to eliminate the shortage of medical knowledge on the basics of premorbid medicine. Professor of the Department Irina Kazanskaya made a report on "The causes of reproductive ill-being of the population in our country through the eyes of a pediatric andrologist."

The conference included not only lecture sections, but also the round tables, master classes and trainings.
