At the end of last year, the University Clinic of Hospital Pediatrics No. 2 of the Faculty of Pediatrics, headed by the dean of the faculty, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Professor Lidia Ilyenko, was officially awarded the WHO and UNICEF international status "Child Friendly Hospital".

This honorary status is assigned to those medical institutions in which all conditions for breastfeeding are created, and the joint stay of mother and child is organized on a 24-hour basis.
