The registry of bone marrow donors at Pirogov University in the "Territory of Meanings": stories that inspire

The All-Russian youth educational event "Territory of Meanings" takes place from July 7 to August 4 in Solnechnogorsk and unites caring people. Within the framework of the forum, the Bone Marrow Donor Registry team The Pirogov University Laboratory collected 112 blood samples for HLA-typing.

Among the participants, representatives of the University met Ekaterina Mishka, a man with a huge heart. At first, the girl was just interested in how they were looking for a donor, how the donation procedure itself was going, and joined the Registry. And then... she brought her whole family and her friend to follow her example. Such stories remind us that goodness is contagious. One step can trigger a chain reaction of salvation.

Read Ekaterina's inspiring story about a life-saving choice.

In order for each patient to find a donor, there must be at least 1,000,000 potential donors in the Registry. There are 333,000 available for search right now. The Pirogov University Register is working to increase this figure.

Thanks to everyone who donated a blood sample or just stopped by to learn a little more about donation. You're part of a big deal.
