The choir of our University became a laureate of the prestigious international competition "Singing World"!

XVI International Competition of Choirs and Vocal Ensembles "The Singing World" was held as part of the International Choir Festival in St. Petersburg. This year, for the first time, the competition was organized in a distance format, more than 60 participants from Russia and other countries competed for the title of the best. The Competition included 12 different nominations. The choir studio of our University received an 2nd degree award in the category "Contemporary Music".

“We are very happy, for us it is a high mark. This is a definite characteristic of the choir collective: everyone who is interested in choral singing knows about the Singing World, and many choirs strive to participate in it. To be its laureate is a high assessment of the level of the team” - noted Tatyana Rostapshova, head of the department for cultural work of the University, artistic director of the choir studio.

Tatyana Vasilievna added that a Christmas song festival from the organizers of the Singing World will take place in December. University choral studio has already applied to participate in it.
