The bridge between doctor and patient: Alexey Reshetun's "Pacentology" was awarded the National Prize

Laureates of the Sanity Award They become authors whose work contributes to the development of medical practice and the promotion of the foundations of a healthy lifestyle. The victory in the "Aesculapius" nomination was won by the assistant of the Department of Topographic Anatomy and Operative Surgery named after Academician Y.M. Lopukhin of Pirogov University Alexey Reshetun.

His book "Pacentology: Waiting, Lying, and "I Just Have to Ask" is an ironic and poignant exploration of the world of relationships between doctors and patients. Through real-life stories from practice, the author draws portraits of those whom doctors encounter on a daily basis with humor and deep understanding.

Alexey Reshetun emphasized the relevance of his work:

"We live in a very interesting time when, along with the availability of medical care, there are certain obstacles. I tried to show us what we look like from the outside in order to facilitate mutual understanding and improve the healing process. After all, treatment is a mutual process, where the role of the patient is no less important than the role of the doctor."

He also noted that the victory was not only his, but also his colleagues, whose real stories formed the basis of the work. Authenticity gives the book a special value, because, according to the author, "there is not a single fictional story in it — it all happened in reality."

Congratulations to Alexey Reshetun on his well-deserved award! We wish you inexhaustible inspiration and new literary successes!
