I was actively involved in patient management and observed surgeries first-hand. The opportunity to observe surgical operations enabled me to realise the importance of teamwork and communication in the operating room for a successful treatment of the patient. The fact that doctors worked under the principles of evidence-based medicine also made a significant impact.

Overall, my internship at Pirogov University was an experience that strengthened my interest in pursuing a career in surgery. I am grateful for all the knowledge and skills I gained.
