The forum is a landmark event covering a wide range of business and economic issues, including healthcare. On June 7, a round table on the creation of innovative medicines for public health was held, the participants of which discussed the current state of research in the development of innovative medicines in Russia. Veronika Skvortsova, Minister of Health of Russia, Mikhail Murashko, Head of the Federal Service for Supervision in the Field of Health, representatives of pharmaceutical companies and university leaders took part in the round table.
“I would like to note that our situation has seriously changed over the past few years. Now, in my opinion, we are approaching the moment when we will create medicines that have no analogues in the world. This is a very interesting stage for researchers, allowing them to be creatively realized."
The fruitful work of the forum resulted in the University signing two cooperation agreements: with the Roscongress Foundation and with the Association of Biomedical Cellular Products Manufacturers.
