The event took place from November 9 to 15, 2023, at the venues of the Russian House on the island of Zanzibar and in Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania.

In a series of outreach efforts, RNIMU delegates also visited various secondary schools in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar, fostering educational connections. A notable highlight was the meeting at the Russian House with the University of Science and Technology (Mbeya), where an agreement was reached to collaborate in the realms of medical and biological education and research.

The educational exhibition in Dar es Salaam was attended by Andrey Levonovich Avetisyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Tanzania. Mr. Avetisyan spoke with representatives of each of the Russian universities, promising to support the establishment of scientific and educational ties with Tanzanian educational institutions.

The event at the Central Library, organized by the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Tanzania, drew over 200 attendees, highlighting the growing interest in Russian educational opportunities among the Tanzanian academic community.
