Representatives from Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University included: Nadezhda Alexandrovna Bylova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Yana Olegovna Grigoryeva, Head of the International Department, and Vasily Pavlovich Butenko, Youth Work Specialist. At the beginning of the event, Nadezhda Alexandrovna noted that such meetings with the representatives of the Iranian Embassy in Russia had been taking place at the University for some time and were an important step towards better understanding between students, teachers, and the administration of the educational institution. Much of the discussion revolved around the perception of study materials in Russian, dormitory placements, and clinical practice at the Second Medical University’s clinical bases.
Speaking about education and the challenges of mastering the curriculum, Nadezhda Alexandrovna Bylova drew attention to the fact that foreign students should be prepared to face difficulties, including language barriers, when entering educational institutions in our country.
"You will be doing your practice in Russian organizations. In the future, as doctors, you will be working with Russian-speaking patients. Many of you have very important and complex specialties that cannot be fully mastered with a language barrier," Nadezhda Alexandrovna explained.
Hadi Goudarzi, a science advisor of the Embassy of Iran in Russia, thanked the University's leadership for the opportunity to meet and discuss important issues with Iranian students at Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University and emphasized that such events are important for both sides.
