Registration for participation in the RNF School of Young Scientists in Neuroscience is open!

The Institute of Neuroscience and Neurotechnology of Pirogov University invites students, postgraduates, doctors and young scientists to participate in the School of Young Scientists "New models of neurodegenerative diseases and promising gene therapy drugs". The event will take place on November 13-14.

A competitive selection is required to participate. Registration is open until October 20th via the link.

This is the third time the school has been held, and this year it will focus on non-drug approaches in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, as well as cutting-edge developments in the field of neuroscience.

Leading experts will address the participants:

Vsevolod Belousov — Doctor of Biological Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Director General of the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnology of the FMBA of Russia, Director of the Institute of Neuroscience and Neurotechnology of Pirogov University;
Yuri Gerasimenko— Head of the Laboratory of Motion Physiology at the Pavlov Institute of Physiology of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Saint Petersburg);
Mikhail Sinkin— MD, Associate Professor, Acting Head of the Department of Medical Neurotechnology at the Institute of Neuroscience and Neurotechnology at Pirogov University, Leading Researcher at the N.V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine;
Artur Biktimirov is a neurosurgeon of the highest category, Director of the Center for Cybernetic Medicine and Neuroprosthetics of the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnology of the FMBA of Russia.;
Marina Shurupova — PhD, Head of the Laboratory of Visual-Motor Coordination and Virtual Environments of the Federal Center for Brain and Neurotechnology of the FMBA of Russia;
Oleg Podgorny — Candidate of Biological Sciences, Senior Researcher at the Scientific Research Center of the Russian Federation Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry named after Academicians M.M. Shemyakin and Yu.A. Ovchinnikov of the Russian Academy of Sciences;
Gurgen Soghoyan is a research intern at the Vladimir Zelman Center for Neurobiology and Neurorehabilitation, Skoltech;
Anastasia Levchenko is the Head of the Department of Registration of Medical Devices at the Federal Medical Research Center of the FMBA of Russia.
