"A family is not just parents and children, but a complex system of relationships. The external environment, traditions, even the habits of parents — all this shapes the child's personality," Olga Milushkina emphasized.
Irina Zapesotskaya, Director of the Department of Educational Program Support, Vladislav Sotnikov, Head of the Department of General Psychology and Developmental Psychology of the ICPSR, and other speakers discussed how parenting differs from caring, as well as why the process of personality formation does not end with adulthood, but continues throughout life.
The students not only deepened their theoretical knowledge, but also received practical advice from experts based on personal experience. At the end of the seminar, Olga Milushkina presented a selection of must-read books for modern parents — a real cheat sheet on parenting.
The seminar proved that parenting is an art in which there is always something to learn.
