Our students won prizes in the All-Russian Olympiad in Surgery

Students of Pirogov Medical University won prizes in the All-Russian Olympiad in Surgery, held in Ufa on April 25-26

The competition was attended by the best student teams from medical universities in the cities of Russia, Germany, China, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The team of our university, which included students of the Faculty of General Medicine Alexander Kuperin, Margarita Murashkina, Dmitry Gomenyuk, Evgenia Makieva, Mikhail Amirov, Alimurat Pashukov,
Elizaveta Stolyarova and a pediatric student Ekaterina Postnikova. Future doctors showed a high level of knowledge and practical skills and received prizes at the following competitions:

Laparoscopic appendectomy (3rd place)
Nephrectomy on the LapSim simulator (2 place)
Theoretical competition (2nd place).
