The Olympiad began with a welcoming speech of the Head of the Department of Propaedeutics of Children's Diseases of the Institute of Maternity and Childhood, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor Anatoly Moiseev, who introduced the organizing committee. Then the participants demonstrated their video vids reflecting their team spirit and creative approach to medicine. The main stage of the Olympiad included a variety of tasks aimed at assessing theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

In the course of the competition the children passed a quiz, demonstrated skills of propaedeutics, psychological assistance to parents and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. This year the Olympiad was stylized as a detective investigation, where teams had to solve the mystery of a clinical case.

The event became a platform for exchange of experience and demonstration of professional skills of future pediatricians from different universities of the country and abroad.
