Pirogov University hosted an event as part of the project “Inspiring by the feat”

The speakers of the third meeting were Sergey Semykin, M.D., Head of the Pediatric Department of the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital – a branch of Pirogov University, pediatrician, doctor of the highest category, graduate of the Pediatric Department of the 2nd Pirogov MOLGMI, and Olga Zykova, M.D., Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Epidemiology of the Institute of Clinical Medicine.

The experts shared their stories about the choice of professional activity, talked about the importance of development and continuous improvement of medical skills, about what qualities a doctor should have in the conditions of the modern world.

“Life forces you, the profession forces you to constantly learn. Medicine is being updated at a tremendous pace,” emphasized Sergey Semykin.

In addition, the listeners learned about the work and assistance of doctors in emergency situations.

Such stories demonstrate the strength of the human spirit and devotion to duty, inspiring future generations of doctors.
