The solemn part was opened by Dmitry Polyakov, Acting Director of the Institute of World Medicine, and Tatiana Rostapshova, Head of the Department of Cultural and Mass Work. In their speeches they noted that compatriots provide an additional opportunity for internationalization of education and international integration, and also emphasized the value of interethnic interaction both in Russia and in the international arena.

 The concert program became a real celebration of cultural diversity. The performance devoted to the importance of preserving one's roots was especially memorable. The festival participants were able to taste dishes of national cuisines and learn dance moves from different parts of the world.

This year, different areas of the University joined the festival. The painting club “Theo” created a canvas with the ornaments of fellow countrymen, the Department of Disaster Medicine of IPM told about the work of doctors in extreme conditions, and the Donor Movement reminded about the importance of joining the Federal Register of bone marrow donors. The Student Sports Club offered guests traditional games of the peoples of the world.

This year, 22 compatriots took part in the event, which made the event truly diverse and memorable.

Pirogov University is a space where intercultural exchange becomes a source of inspiration, friendship and unity.
