Olga Milushkina, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Pirogov University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke about the transformation of educational activities in the conditions of Russia's rejection of the Bologna system. Special attention was paid to the introduction of a new model of education, which includes modern programs, creation of a digital educational environment, increased enrollment of students, including foreign citizens, improved staff training, increased scientific research, work on new federal educational standards and much more.
Elena Petryaikina, Director of the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital (RCCH) - a branch of Pirogov University for 2020-2024, Head of the Endocrinology Department of the IMD of Pirogov University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, spoke at the meeting with a report on the activities of the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital (RCCH) – a branch of Pirogov University. Over the past time, 16 thousand surgical interventions, 43 thousand outpatient visits and 36 thousand telemedicine consultations have been performed in the Russian Children's Clinical Hospital, 10 functional centers have been opened, remuneration has tripled, unique drugs have been developed and new departments using the most modern technologies have been opened.
“Currently, the RDKB – a branch of Pirogov University – is a fully equipped and staffed modern hospital”, -– emphasized Elena Petryaikina.
At the end of the meeting, the results of the elections in the contest for election to positions and academic titles were announced and structural changes were approved.
