The thirty-four students who made it to the finals were divided into teams and faced serious challenges: from written assignments to interpreting complex serologic tests and solving situational problems. Students demonstrated not only knowledge, but also the ability to work in a team. The jury, headed by the Head of the Department of Microbiology and Virology of IPM Dr. Liudmila Kafarskaya, asked difficult questions to check the depth of knowledge of the participants.

The Olympiad became a real celebration of science and knowledge for everyone: students got not only bonuses, but also valuable experience, and teachers were convinced of the high level of preparation of their wards. We congratulate all participants and thank “veteran students” Anastasia Fesenko and Mikhail Makeev for their dedication to microbiology.
