The competition was attended by 56 specialized institutions providing medical care to veterans, as well as participants of the special military operation. The winners were congratulated by Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko:
“Today we honor the best of the best. You have proved that both in a megalopolis and in a small town it is possible and necessary to provide medical care of the highest level. You have shown that modernization can go hand in hand with traditions, and new technologies are not a substitute for care, but its strengthening”.
Over the decades, the hospitals have accumulated enormous experience in the treatment, rehabilitation and follow-up of patients. Thanks to the knowledge and innovative methods implemented in these medical institutions, the quality of life of elderly patients is improved and a comprehensive approach to each person is ensured, taking into account their individual needs.
With the growing number of elderly citizens and the increasing proportion of combat veterans, including those involved in special military operations, war veterans' hospitals are becoming flagships of a new humane model of human care. Here the history of medicine meets its future.
